The Research Excellence Awards at South East Technological University (SETU) marked a vibrant celebration of the talent, creativity, and impact of research across the university.

The event highlighted the depth and diversity of research activity at SETU while providing an important opportunity for academics, research students, and professional staff to come together as a research community.

This year’s awards, held on 16 February at the Cork Road, Waterford campus, saw a record number of nominees with more than 50 researchers recognised for their contributions.
